WHAT IS PILATES?
Pilates is a low-impact exercise program that improves posture and muscular imbalances and increases strength and flexibility. Using the principles of Joseph Pilates classical workouts, Pilates practitioners learn balance, control and proper form to get the most out of their workout.
With a consistent practice, Pilates can help alleviate pain, strengthen the core and lengthen and tone the entire body.
Because our classes are small we offer reformer classes with modifications and progressions so each practitioner can move within their ‘Green zone’ without injury and still get the most out of each session. This gives your instructor the ability to focus on each client to ensure proper form.

Using the Reformer, our classes are offered with modifications and progressions so each client can get the most out of their workout in a safe and effective manner.

One-on-one training or semi-private classes for two. Personalized sessions with a focus on each individuals needs and goals.

Mat pilates involves performing body weight exercises on a mat to enhance core strength, flexibility and overall muscle tone through controlled movements and breath awareness.

Reformer Pilates
The different types of Reformer classes we offer include: Tone and Sculpt, Cardio (using the jumpboard) and Restore & Stretch.
Tone and Sculpt— With a focus on the fundamentals of Pilates this class is good for beginner to advanced students. Classes will focus on form and tempo with variations and props to keep class interesting. As the student masters form and gains strength, progressions will be offered to advance the students practice.
Cardio— Still following the fundamentals of Pilates, the cardio class includes jumping on the jump board to increase the heart rate and wake the body up. This class also includes exercises to strengthen and stretch the entire body. Previous reformer experience recommended.
Restore and Stretch— Great for days where you may be sore from previous workouts or just looking for a lighter class, the Restore and stretch has a focus on proper form, slower movement and stretching. Perfect for beginners.
Abs and Ass- An advanced class with a focus on targeting the Glutes, including Medius and Maximus, Abs- including Rectus, transverse and obliques. An intense class which will leave you feeling strong. Intermediate/ advanced practitioners only.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a form of Pilates that involves performing exercises on a mat without the use of specialized equipment. It focuses on bodyweight resistance, controlled movements, and breath awareness to build core strength, flexibility, and overall muscle tone. Mat Pilates exercises often target the abdominal muscles, lower back, hips, and thighs. The routines can vary in intensity and complexity, making it accessible for individuals of different fitness levels.
Barre Class
A low-impact fitness workout that combines ballet, Pilates and yoga. Participants use a bar for support while performing small, precise movements to strengthen and tome muscles, improve flexibility and enhance balance and posture. Challenging and graceful suitable for various fitness levels.
