I'm new to Pilates. What class should I book?
If you're new to Pilates, we recommend starting with our "Foundations" or “Tone and Sculpt” class.
Foundations a gentle class that's perfect for beginners, those with injuries or limitations, or anyone looking for a recovery day.
Tone and Sculpt is a mixed-level class suitable for everyone, with modifications and progressions provided as needed.
Core & Cardio is an intermediate class that incorporates jumping on the jump board and Pilates movements.
Elevate is an advanced class that requires prior Reformer experience.
I am still new to Pilates but I want to try the Elevate class? Can I book it?
Because the Elevate class involves advanced positioning which can be a fall risk we ask that you wait to book this class until you have some experience with the reformer. We always want to challenge you in class but your safety is always our priority.
I bought a package and booked a class but now it won’t let me book anymore classes. Why?
Packages start on the day of your first booking so if you book, for example, the 10th and then try to book before the 10th the system won’t let you. If you need to adjust your package start date please text or email the studio and we can help with that!
If the studio cancels due to inclement weather, will I get my credit back?
Yes, if The Studio Boutique Pilates cancels a class due to inclement weather, you will receive a credit for the canceled class. This ensures that you won't lose out on your booking and can reschedule for another time.
How do I book a private or duet class?
To book a private class or duet at The Studio Boutique Pilates, please contact the studio via email at thestudioboutiquepilates@gmail.com.
Can I book a class for a friend using my account?
No, each person needs their own account to book a class at The Studio Boutique Pilates. This ensures that everyone has a personalized experience and can manage their own bookings and cancellations. Additionally, each person must sign a waiver before attending their first class.
Can I bring my kids?
At The Studio Boutique Pilates, we strive to create a focused and serene environment for all our clients. Therefore, we do not allow children in the studio during classes. We recommend arranging childcare in advance to ensure you can fully enjoy your Pilates session.
Discounts, Free Classes & Special Requests
Why don’t you offer free classes, discounts, or extensions?
We’re asked this question often, so we want to be transparent and clear.
As a small, independently owned boutique studio, our pricing is set carefully to ensure the sustainability of the business. Each class covers instructor wages, rent, equipment maintenance, software, insurance, and operating costs. Offering free classes, ongoing discounts, extensions, or exceptions — even occasionally — quickly becomes unsustainable.
To put it simply:
You wouldn’t go to a restaurant and ask for a free meal “just to try it.”
You wouldn’t ask for a free lash set, free Botox, a complimentary massage, or a free haircut to see if you like it.
Pilates is a professional service, and our instructors are highly trained professionals who deserve to be paid for their time and expertise.
Why can’t you make exceptions?
While we completely understand why clients ask, making individual exceptions isn’t fair to other clients who follow the same pricing and policies. If we extend credits, discount memberships, or offer free classes for some, we would need to do so for everyone — and that simply isn’t possible.
Our policies are not meant to be rigid or unkind; they are in place to:
Keep the studio financially healthy
Pay our instructors fairly
Maintain small class sizes and high-quality instruction
Ensure consistency and fairness for all clients
Do you ever offer promotions or deals?
Yes — occasionally. Any promotions, flash sales, or special offers are clearly advertised and available equally to everyone. Outside of those promotions, our pricing and policies remain consistent.
Why are your policies firm compared to some studios?
Our policies are consistent with industry standards across boutique fitness and service-based businesses. Clear pricing, defined expiration dates, and firm cancellation policies are standard practices that allow studios like ours to operate responsibly and sustainably.
These policies ensure we can fairly compensate our instructors, manage limited class capacity, and provide a high-quality experience for all clients. Consistency also allows us to treat every client equally, without exceptions that could create confusion or unfairness.
Our goal is to offer excellent instruction in a supportive, professional environment — while operating in a way that aligns with best practices in the industry.
